Rafting on Tångböleströmmarna. A nice halfday tour on Indalsälven that is quite long. The tour starts in Ånnsjön, 20 kilometers west of Åre and goes down to Tångböle. We go through three rapids. The two first ones are quite easy and the other one a little bit harder. Halfway down the river we stop on the bank and make some coffee and a light lunch. During this rafting you get oportunity to swim and surf in the river. Rafting distance: 10 km. Age limit: 10 years. Rafting distance: 8 km. Age limit: 10 years.

Besides the dogs "ordinary jobs" in the tourist business they sometimes competes in longdistance races in Sweden and Norway. The sleddogs we use for the tours are. With traditions from old arctic areas. In Alaska, Canada, Sibiria and Greenland they have grown these kind of dogs to become strong, persistent and friendly to humans. Välkommen till Åre Sleddog Adventures. Åre sleddog adventures startades 1984 och är därmed det äldsta inom branschen här i Åredalen. Kenneln består av ett 50 tal vältränade Alaskan Huskies som förutom sina ”dagliga jobb” inom turistbranschen även tävlar ibland på långdistans tävlingar i Sverige och Norge. Idag körde vi nästan alla hundarna 46 st inklusive. 8 valpar som är lika lugna och snälla som dom vuxna. Nu är det snart klart för start av dagens andra tur. Våra koordinater är x7026233, Y1371836.
