Tuesday, June 10, 2014. Things Happen FOR You. Today in yoga class, the instructor said something that I really want to meditate on. In India, the God "Ganesha" is pretty well known as "The Remover of Obstacles". But he is also known to put obstacles *in* your way, to sort of "cause you to bobble a bit" on your path; to help you stop going in the wrong direction and begin moving toward the "better" path for you. She said that nothing really happens TO you. Rather, things happen FOR you. For me, anyway.
