Apply for a Job. All berries at Burlington Berries are protected by state-of-the-art Haygrove polytunnels. Varieties in Australia are focused on day-neutral types (everbearers). Everbearers form flower buds whatever the day length, that produce flowers and fruit all summer long with seasonal peaks in November/December and then again in February/March. Are produced on long canes supported by a wired trellis. There are different production methods based on the age of the plant and the cycle of the crop.

Apply for a Job. Strawberry plants are grown from bare root runners provided by a certified nursery. Individual plants are placed in coir bags with drip irrigation. Once planted in August they establish a healthy root system and have their first flowers showing in eight weeks with the first edible berries only six weeks from flowering.
