Laquo; Five Dogs in The Gap. What’s Your Favorite? Written by Mike on January 17th, 2011. Leave it as it is. You can not improve on it. The ages have been at work on it, and man can only mar it. Theodore Roosevelt, May 6th, 1903, Grand Canyon. This sound simple enough, but as we were soon to see first hand the mission itself is much like the Grand Canyon: There is more to see than the first glance. My mother and I had planned this hike months ago. Both of us are native Arizonians who had never hiked ...

Fisherman's Log: August 2010
http://fishermanlog.blogspot.com/2010_08_01_archive.html
Friday, August 6, 2010. Round 2 1/2, Pole Creek and the Uintah Mountains. It was just great to be up in the mountains. I hope that my kids enjoy it when they are older as much as they do now. I could seriously live up here during the summer. The weather was a little over cast and cloudy and we got some rain coming off the mountain. But it was perfect weather when we first got up there. Two of my fishing buddies. I hope this is the first of many trips with them. Look at that concentration. I am also very ...

Wednesday, November 16, 2011. Wishin I was Fishin. So, here is a fun little piece on the Green River. It seems like I have not been up there in ages. But if you are up there in the fall, late fall, and winter, fishing can still be awesome. Http:/ www.ksl.com/? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Fisherman's Log: May 2012

Tuesday, May 29, 2012. Flaming Gorge, April 2011. This is a view that I miss, but is etched in my memory. I think it will always be home in some aspects. A little shot of the Creek. The fish were in a variety of water. Some in the deeper pools, other in the fast shallows. Yes, sometimes it is just nice to sit and relax, and listen to the water. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Thursday, January 13, 2011. Utah Dec 2010 Trip Continued. Here are some pictures from the Green. Utah Trip Dec 2010. We headed up to Utah for the Holiday season to spend time with family. It was a quick trip but I was able to get a little fishing in. It was very cold while we were up there. -21 Degrees was recorded one morning. This made fishing a little harder, but somehow, standing in a river workin hard to get a strike just makes the weather warmer. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile.

Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Oak Creek, Sedona AZ. The Red Rock is the trade mark of that part of the state, parts of the river actually ran right over the rocks, making for some very interesting features in the river. The upper part of the river was a lot less crowded . Although we did have to compete with some sort of youth group, and a bunch of spin fisherman around the campgrounds and major parking spots. We were able to find some areas of the river that we could fish on. Here are a couple of holes were ...
