London and Paris, here I come. Thursday, July 7, 2011. Last Days in London. I can't believe that this long awaited trip is already drawing to a close! Tomorrow will be their last day of sightseeing on the trip and then Saturday morning they will begin the journey home. Yesterday, they had a theater workshop at the Royal Albert Hall with TV and theater star Christian Roe. Pretty neat for them to get to meet and work with a real British celebrity! With all the excitement of Madison finally being home (and all the trips to see friends she hasn't seen in 2 weeks) I never go around to finishing my blog. All in all the trip was fantastic. She tried all kinds of crazy foods that I would never have been able to talk her into if she was here at home.things like squid, frog legs and escargot. She didn't like the squid, but didn't mind the other 2.she actually liked the escargot!

London and Paris, here I come. Tuesday, June 28, 2011. Day 1 Arrival in Paris. Our parent phone tree was ringing like crazy that first night and it was after 3am by the time I was able to settle down and get some sleep, and then the tree started over again at 8:45am our time to let us know that they arrived in Paris safe and sound. Unfortunately they were about 6 hours later in arriving than originally scheduled, so their itinerary will have to be tweaked to fit everything in. Caen Memorial and Museum.
