Around the World with CBP. Checking items off of my bucket list, one country at a time. December 4, 2014. March 11, 2015. Our last port on our Fall 2014 Semester at Sea voyage was Havana, Cuba! For those of you in which this is your first time hearing about my program’s last port, yes, we did go to Cuba! Everything was very cheap, to the point of a beef burger costing less than two pesos! We walked around the area the rest of the night, grabbing churros from a street vendor and taking in the sights.

St Maarten and St. Martin are the two sides of the same island, an island shared by the Dutch and French. Grabbed a taxi for 3 hours and went where he wanted to take us. He was very upbeat, and talkative. Fascinating to us to see two distinct cultures on the same island. We learned a lot. See Don, half in the Netherlands and half in France. A new bridge had recently been put in.
