Live, laugh, love. Monday, October 5, 2009. So Dave gave me a Nikon D90 last year for my past 3 birthdays. With that I was supposed to take a class but just haven't ever done it. This month my college friend, photographer Kristen is teaching some classes, so I decided to do it even though I would probably miss 30% of the classes. I've learned SO much! Here are a few shots where I was in manual mode. Helps to be on the field :). I don't think this was manual mode, but such a great shot!

November 22 is Belle's Birthday, then Thanksgiving, then my birthday Dec. 13, then Christmas! Friday, July 29, 2011. I'm cleaning out the house as we prepare for a yard sale tomorrow. My goal was to try to get rid of at least 1/2 the stuff we own, either donating it or selling it. I think I did.um.maybe 1/8 of what we own. But what's most astonishing to me is that I am completely, one hundred percent okay with getting rid of baby stuff. It's been a bit more than 48 hours since a 20 year old man walked into an elementary school and killed 26 people. 48 hours that 20 mamas have been missing their babies. 48 hours since daddies found out they would never finish raising their children. 20 children. 6 adults. 27 families destroyed in just a few minutes of utter chaos.
