Memoirs of a Modern Day Mom. Thursday, October 24, 2013. So blessed to finally be all together! He met his grandpas. Some of his great grandparents. And one very special great-great-grandmother. He was introduced to Texas in the best way possible.his first cowboy hat :). And then we headed home home. :) When we got there, we found this on our front door. We immediately took him to the doctor and found that he actually had a double ear infection and we were able to get him started on antibiotics right away.

Memoirs of a Modern Day Mom. Monday, September 23, 2013. Well things have changed quite a bit since my last post. We are going to get our son! Last Wednesday we learned that Nairobi approved our visa application and this morning we heard from the Ethiopian embassy that they are good with everything and we need to get on a plane. So we are! Today has been a whirlwind of packing, filling prescriptions, packing, booking flights and hotels, and packing. But I think we are good to go! I will update when I can!
