Liberty Road quilt- - nap size. Summery and pastel flag blocks. Hand quilted with big stitch , # 12 perle cotton and a Sashiko needle. 18 light and airy blocks!

Quilt for a new grandson! I finished this and mailed it early in the last week of April! A gender-neutral baby quilt! On Friday, baby Ben arrived! Our son, Andrew!

Scrappy wacky pink log cabin a gift to my godsons daughter. Finished and off to a good home! Perfect for a little girl! This was so much fun! I know I will make more!

Disappearing 4 patch block. A young woman who works where I do is having a baby in November. Her shower is Sunday. I hope to "whip up" a small crib quilt for her.

Friday, April 6, 2012. Now I know how my mom felt when I was little and I had asthma. You so want to help them cough and breathe. You feel so helpless wishing you could do something to ease them so your loved one could be at peace. That is the prayer I have asked for for my Daddy. that he be at peace and not suffering, laboring to take a breath without coughing or gurgling. I realize I cannot win on everything but it is fun and exciting when you do win something. Links to this post. A Painting a Day.
