Ashford Photographic Society News. Friday, 5 June 2015. Camera Club of the Year 2014-15. The free photographic newspaper, Photography News ( http:/ absolutephoto.com/index.php/magazines/photography-news). Has released the results for their first Camera Club of the Year 2014-15 and Ashford Photographic Society came equal ninth, just 8 point behind the winners. Each club had to submit 25 photographs on five themes (5 photos per theme) and each image was scored out of 20. Theme 1 - Water (82/100).

Throughout the year the club likes to organise additional activities, whether they be workshops or outings, and last Sunday, 26th April, over 12 members visited Kings Wood, Challock in the hope of photographing blankets of bluebells.
