Despite the imense pain I endured with my divorce, I think if not for that traumatic event, I wouldn't have made the changes I have made and I wouldn't be the awesome person I am today. It still hurts, but I got so much more out of it than I lost. To anyone reading, choose happy. Just do it. It's such a waste of time not to. Insulin resistance sucks! Anyway, I'm starting cosmetology school next Tuesday. I decided to throw caution to the wind and just follow my dream. I'm going down to part time at the hospital, which scares the crap out of me as far as money goes, but we can do it (I hope! But I can do anything for 10 months right?

Saturday, 4 December 2010. Hope you are all well and warm. It has been snowing here for a week so of course the South East of England has ground to a halt. We have about 6inches where I live, which is quite a lot for us. I work 20 miles away and they had no snow! Go figure. So there was no point trying to blag a day off. To be honest the main roads were OK so my journey didn't suffer. In fact the roads were much quieter than usual because lots of people didn't go to work. Anyway on to my fantastic news.

Friday, 28 August 2009. It's good news week! My first appointment this week was with the Medical Doctor who discharged me into the care of the surgeon. (wished me luck too).
