One thing that I’ve encountered and had to battle is the terrible summer cold. At first I thought it was just an onslaught of allergies from the weather changes, but more and more symptoms pointed to something more diabolical. Like finding it physically painful to just stand, breathe or just exist. Preferably the first option, though...

October 6, 2014. Another form of arts/crafts that I started a few years back was crocheting. I tried knitting, but that turned more stressful than relaxing. Turns out I have a better chance trying to control one needle than two. At this point I cut my losses and turned it into a very “eclectic” oven pad. October 6, 201...

too many ecstatic instances to mention | for each ecstatic instant
https://ecstaticinstant.wordpress.com/2014/06/03/too-many-ecstatic-instances-to-mention
For each ecstatic instant. Follows one of casual simplicity. Too many ecstatic instances to mention. June 3, 2014. So for my first post in a long, long while I’m going to share a few snapshots. Of what I’ve been up to in the absence. I moved to a house on a lake. And I started my career as a floor nurse. All this, as you can imagine, took up a lot of time and was just the. But don’t worry, I still have most of my hair. I fell in love. But, as you can see, we’ve been busy. Making just a few memories.

Goodbye, NY – everyday adventurin'
https://everydayadventurin.wordpress.com/2015/08/12/goodbye-ny
What's stopping you? August 12, 2015. August 12, 2015. Blog disclaimer: I just switched phones so if my blog looks weird, don’t worry. It looks just as weird to me. All that being said, I used Google Maps to refresh my memory on the landmarks along the way. Did you know Google Maps showed the AT? So events may be out of correct order. When the AT can tell you're gonna think this can't possibly be the trail. No good hand or foothold after the Lemon Squeeze. Unless you're over six feet tall. Stopped for ev...

PA-NJ-NY – everyday adventurin'
https://everydayadventurin.wordpress.com/2015/08/04/414
What's stopping you? August 4, 2015. August 4, 2015. We finally did a short day across the PA-NJ border and into Worthington State Forest. We waited out the heat of the day at the parking area/river in our hammocks and just before sunset we hiked uphill to a designated backpacker’s campsite. We were lulled to sleep by amazing views of the sunset and the sound of some rodent diligently trying to eat the privy. Dan sporting my crocs. All the trees had been marked or felled by beaver. Church where we stayed.

https://everydayadventurin.wordpress.com/2015/07/14/baltimore-dc
What's stopping you? July 14, 2015. July 14, 2015. Yonder and his dad found us at Watermelon Park (there to pick up the wreck of his own canoe) and drove us to Yonder’s hometown of Baltimore. First order of business was to drive through downtown to Chap’s Pit Beef, a Baltimore-style bbq joint Yonder’s been raving about for months. Baltimore, somewhat famous for strip clubs, of course had this Diners-Drive-Ins-and-Dives-featured restaurant in the parking lot of a gentlemen’s club. Museum of Natural History.

What's stopping you? July 13, 2015. July 13, 2015. Martin and his family picked us up in Waynesboro and we drove south again to the town of Natural Bridge, VA. (Dan and I had been all of 10 miles from here when we were in Glasgow.). The next day, we drove to the south fork of the Shenandoah River to buy our canoe then met Yonder, Hooter, Sarge, and Derp at the river. One of many bald eagle sightings. Asian Wisdom
Ancient Savvy for Modern Living. Helping Others Succeed Forges One's Own Attainment. It was common for ancient cultivators to practice in solitude in a cave. A young man was determined to cultivate and searched for a suitable cave for his cultivation. He finally found one after a long search and cleaned it up. 8221; He thought about it and gave the cave to the old man. The young man was reluctant, but helped the disabled man nevertheless. Helping others succeed is really forging one's own attainment....
