Tuesday, December 9, 2008. The Cost of Christmas Magic. Lately everything has been carefully monitored by how much it costs and if it really is a necessity. Spending $25 to sit on Santa’s lap and get a poor quality photo was not on the necessity list and I have been putting it off for weeks. Today I threw that out the window and finally said, “Yes! We got up and went to our outdoor mall only to discover that Santa does not arrive until noon. (We were there at 9:45 – and it was cold this morning! This is ...

McClure Madness: Jenna goes to Preschool
http://mccluremadness.blogspot.com/2009/09/jenna-goes-to-preschool.html
Friday, September 25, 2009. Jenna goes to Preschool. Jenna has been anxious to start preschool since she could talk. She watched Jadyn go to school and she came a lot to "help" with me over the last few years. Now she is finally big enough to go to school. On her Meet the Teacher. Day, she picked out her very own outfit and hair bow. Doesn't she look adorable? It is like she is saying, "I am ready to go! She was so excited to see that her spot is a yellow bear. Her favorite color is yellow. On the First ...

Tuesday, March 10, 2009. Fun at Lehi Days. Is it already time for Lehi. That must mean I have been blogging for one entire year! Days was one of the first blog entries I did last year. Wow! Where does the time go? Here are the kids holding a little chick. While we waited for the pony ride, the girls showed their "balance beam" skills. I had to include this photo because Jenna has a style all her own. Grandma and Uncle Jared - normally he does not wear a cowboy hat, but that is what made it so funny.

Wednesday, November 5, 2008. Jadyn LOVED her costume this year. She was all decked out as Glinda the Good Witch. From "The Wizard of Oz". She even practiced singing the song,. Come out, come out wherever you are. And meet the young lady who fell from a star. And Kansas she said is the name of the star.". My favorite part of the song is the accent that she used to sing - like a British Glinda. Cracked me up! She was absolutely beautiful. Jenna was The Witch. I'm a mean old witch with a hat - he, he, he, he.

Wednesday, December 31, 2008. For we need a little Christmas,. Right this very minute. We need a little Christ-mas, Now! Opening the stockings. Jenna loves anything yellow - even a toothbrush. Hyrum got cars and trucks and balls. He is such a boy. He LOVES all of them and walked around all day saying, "Vrrrmmmm, vrrrmmmm" (even with toys that are not cars.). Sweet little Jenna loved getting big girl toys like her sister. She and Jadyn got a lot of the same gifts and they have been playing ever since.

Created to share the moments of "sunshine" (which we get a lot of here in Arizona ) in our lives with our family and friends. Wednesday, July 22, 2009. We spent last week soaking up some sun on the beach in San Clemente, CA. This was our second year going with friends from Arizona (pictured below). And it was such a blast! We spent hours on the beach. The kids had a great time with friends and various activities as you'll see . . . Briggy wasn't the biggest fan of the sand and surf. This was the only...

A couple of weeks ago the Dallin and Elaine headed off back to school. Dallin is in 4th grade this year and Elaine is in 2nd. Created to share the moments of "sunshine" (which we get a lot of here in Arizona ) in our lives with our family and friends. Monday, February 23, 2009. Happy 4th Birthday Taft! Taft was so excited to celebrate his 4th birthday and go to Sweet Tomatos for dinner. It was funny as Grandma and Grandpa sent him a card with coupons to the restaurant and a check and he was more excited for the coupons than the money. (Thanks, Grandma and Grandpa! He still keeps telling us, "I'm never going to be 3 again! This ...
