Doomsday Robot For Sale

Doomsday Robot For Sale. Friday, June 23, 2006. Who Slew Mr. Mayhem? Of course, every one assumed Tom was destroyed in this same explosion, right? So maybe Proteus is alive as well. It stands to reason, doesn’t it, that if Tom lived, his creator might have survived as well. Except that Tom acknowledges that Proteus is dead and, as evidence, points to his own freedom to pursue a career as a piano player as evidence of this. This would be a cheat, of course, if Who Slew Mr. Mayhem. Posted by Sean @ 1:37 PM.

Doomsday Robot For Sale: Origins Part Two

http://www.atomicdetective.blogspot.com/2006/04/origins-part-two.html

Doomsday Robot For Sale. Friday, April 21, 2006. One of the things we knew right off the bat was that we wanted a robot private eye. What he would look like and what his personality would be like was up in the air, though. Joey did some designs, which I never saw until well after we’d started working on the book. Next, I needed a name. Throughout the script, the robot was referred to as Atomo, plain and simple. While it was true that in a place like B-City, a robot piano player named Atomo would ...I did...

Doomsday Robot For Sale: Origins Part One

http://www.atomicdetective.blogspot.com/2006/04/origins-part-one.html

Doomsday Robot For Sale. Thursday, April 13, 2006. So, let's start at the beginning here. Utter crap, but it did have potential - nothing a few rewrites couldn't make infinitely more effective. During that process, I learned some valuable lessons:. 1) Reading comics does not mean you know how to write them. 2) Writing comics is not at all like writing a screenplay. It's much harder. 3) The only way to get better as a comics writer is to write more comics. Which, for the sake of Tom Sparks, is a good thing.

Doomsday Robot For Sale: Welcome!

http://www.atomicdetective.blogspot.com/2006/04/welcome.html

Doomsday Robot For Sale. Monday, April 10, 2006. This is the first official Tom Sparks, Atomic Detective blog entry. What about 'Destroy All Comics! Wasn't that the official Raging Sombrero Studios weblog? Yes, it was. But this blog is all about Tom Sparks, our on-going webcomic. Here's where you will find specific-Sparks related stuff, like annotations and commentary for the strip. You'll also find rare art and script pages, etc. In other words, this is a suppliment to the comic. Posted by Sean @ 1:39 PM.

Destroy All Comics!!!: January 2006

http://destroyallcomics.blogspot.com/2006_01_01_archive.html

Thursday, January 26, 2006. Opinion - All Star Superman 2. Nearly two decades ago, Alan Moore asked Whatever happened to the man of tomorrow? At last, we have an answer: he’s been hiding out inside the head of Grant Morrison. It’s fantastic, fun and my favorite interpretation of the character in years. PS not to diminish the work of Frank Quitely and everyone else who contributes to the look of this book by focusing solely on Morrison. The art in this series is second to none and everything from the ...
