A Well Placed Hole: May 2006
http://listeningeye.blogspot.com/2006_05_01_archive.html
A Well Placed Hole. Of late, barred. Monday, May 15, 2006. Satellite Dish, Home Plate, Sinus Aestuum. If die let dead, better. Information and energy: power. Power of meaning, power of movement. Associative power, stabilizing power. Power to create, power to kill. Power to liberate, power to control. Sun and moon, too, day and night, too. Power to teach, power to indoctrinate. A visit to the museum, a dinner of salt, a witness to a genital death match. Now I can go to work, world. Links to this post.

A Well Placed Hole: January 2007

A Well Placed Hole. Of late, barred. Monday, January 01, 2007. Surrender and the too tired to ache; surrender and the memory of drive and loss. A bureau with its drawers sewn shut, the things and lyrics turning to dust. I wanted to make a movie. It’s a seat on the side not driving now, a seat with a view of a landscape neither read of nor walked through, ever, now or ever. They’ve made me pity the murdered murderer, because I - you - are next in the plot they wring. Posted by J. Neptune at 11:58 AM.
A Well Placed Hole: September 2006

A Well Placed Hole. Of late, barred. Monday, September 11, 2006. I put the groceries away as he puked, broccoli, dandelion, a chicken, some sweets, a plastic bucket of salad and a pound of oats. I'll start dinner," I said. From the kitchen I watched him lay face up on the bare unmade mattress, maybe looking at his distorted reflection in the brass nipple of the ceilinglight. One aspect of the agreement is to make space for the person's utter unknowable inwardness, and with desire waving the arms of a con...
A Well Placed Hole: August 2006
http://listeningeye.blogspot.com/2006_08_01_archive.html
A Well Placed Hole. Of late, barred. Thursday, August 24, 2006. An Agent Will Be With You Shortly. Please Have A Seat. Along a current of confusion, which feels like open humiliation and looks like rage a ship of dreamtexts comes calling. One mouth enclosed them, like a venus flytrap without lipstick, and wouldn’t even swallow. Another mouth’s teeth tore into them, breaking their fruitskin, revealing ripe meat. A question of submission is posed. There is this question. Opting out is not a choice. You can...

A Well Placed Hole. Of late, barred. Thursday, January 26, 2006. When you're in me, the end has already passed. The afterlife is the time of you-in-me. The moment of invitation is impossible to remember, but I'm sure it occurs, every and each time. I'm sure it's not an invasion, not you breaking into me, not you entering me against my own desire. And a chaos of letters, a kind of typographic earthquake occurs. I hear myself say, after. Over and over again hearing it. Posted by J. Neptune at 3:14 PM.
A Well Placed Hole: February 2007
http://listeningeye.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html
A Well Placed Hole. Of late, barred. Wednesday, February 28, 2007. Hard rain against the sea glass. A deer leaps long jumps across the dunegrass. Gulls ride the storm wind valleys and slopes. The calm water thrashing in a collar of white. The full moon swells below ground. A fever in my throat hobbling me. Cash determines now that once the transition is made, it is time to leave. Just when the stick bundle is set to be burned. I came and go with the fellow traveler in my throat. Links to this post. Sing,...
A Well Placed Hole: March 2007

A Well Placed Hole. Of late, barred. Tuesday, March 13, 2007. A ax of sun splits the. Shaves my head, like the teenage monk I was. A ax. Of earth splits the. Breathe, teethe, hunger. Spring sun electric meat lines quiver. Posted by J. Neptune at 10:02 PM. Links to this post. Saturday, March 03, 2007. I am this walking. Cutting cold black morning. Not old not young. What I wanted no longer means. What I am isn’t. I lean into the wind that makes ice re. Flect the exterminator’s lamp. I am this walking.

A Well Placed Hole. Of late, barred. Wednesday, February 15, 2006. Salt bust. On a pedestal. She comes in, climbs on a step ladder and pisses on it, melting its visage, coloring it. Bust of vegetable. She comes in, eats its face partially off. Bust of meat. Same. Bust of clear plastic. She comes in, climbs on the ladder, opens the top of it like a tea pot, shits in the bust’s head, replaces the top. Wipes her asshole with the name tag on the pedestal, returns it to its spot, climbs down. Shet me so in.

The Best Ever Grill Rub. Tuesday, October 10, 2017. We grill year round in my house and there's one grill rub that I keep reaching for, time and time again. Double, triple, or quadruple the recipe to store in your spice cabinet because you will be using it on EVERYTHING. I grew up in the midwest in a house where we grilled year round. In the midwest, you experience all four seasons and that never stopped us once. Grilling commenced in the rain or in the snow or on beautiful sunny days. Black Pepper, fres...

A Traveling Wilbury
February 19, 2012. Or been, more like it. And back to fuck all. But back to where we started. It was an overly warm Tuesday when I set off for Camberwell, where Andrew was purchasing car snacks. We trundled our way up towards the highway, and soon enough we were cruising the Hume. A missed turn off, a Uey, and a correction later, we were well on our way. The tunes were cranking by the time we reached our first stop, Glenrowan. Andrew reflects in Glenrowan. 2002: a monumental year in Glenrowan. The highwa...

Monday, September 20, 2010. We decided to go on a little get-away for a belated honeymoon by ourselves. A friend of mine recommended Block Island, RI. What a treat it was. For $230 we got two nights accommodation at a B&B, two bike rentals for two days, and two round trip ferry tickets. Considering the bikes alone would have normally cost $180 total, we made out pretty damn well! We went midweek after Labor Day, so that's why we got such a great deal. Ahhhh, nothing like the fresh ocean air. Here's a coo...

This blog is all about my interests: travel, education, and creative projects. Monday, January 24, 2011. Logroño-La Rioja, España. January 21st-23rd, 2011. Sauteed mushrooms in garlic and dried ham. The best part about the day was that on average, the house wine was about 70 cents. For a pincho and wine, it basically wasn't anymore than 3 euros. Talk about ridiculously cheap! Lolly and I in front of the Puente de Piedra. Written January 9th, 2011. Haha But I think it's a compliment and shows that I've al...
