Tuesday, February 3, 2009. Can you believe how fast the time goes by? Can't wait to meet the little guy in person! Didn't sleep at all last night. Finally got up around 3:30am to some bible study and praying. Went back to bed at 4:30 and laid there until 5:30 when it was time to get up. So only about 4 hours of sleep. I'm tired! Posted this challenge back on December 26th, but I'm just now getting around to entering. My daughter has been invited to an Eagle Scout ceremony this weekend. When I suggested she buy a card, she said "I thought you could make one". To my delight, I did just that! So, thanks Jen for the awesome sketch challenge. It was perfect for the card. While we were there, we had lunch at Dave and Buster's, went to Hershey's Chicago for some sweet treats. Took the water taxi. To the Sears Tower, went up in to the Sears Tower Skydeck. And stomped around on the new glass ledge up top, ate yummy Chicago style pizza, went to the Ghiradelli. Shop for sundaes, went to the Shedd. Wheel, walked through Millennium. On 25 August 2005, I left Portland, Maine for a six month sailing trip. Along the way; I fell in love three times. With Saipan, the sweet loving woman who is now my wife, and our son. I bought a spinning wheel from a friend and wanted to make my own dyed rovings. Once I got the hang of that, I decided it would be fun to see what I could create with commercially milled yarns.
