Field House Chronicles: Main Bathroom Renovation - Part Fifteen
http://fieldhousechronicles.blogspot.com/2014/10/main-bathroom-renovation-part-fifteen.html
Tuesday, October 21, 2014. Main Bathroom Renovation - Part Fifteen. The wall below the bathroom showing the vertical pex runs for the shower and the main bath vanity, along with assorted fished electrical. After laying the last of the ceramic tile, I had enough mortar to bed the Shluter Kerdi shower base into the show stall. The full 32 x 60 was used, it just had to be sanded about 1/32 inch from each side to lay in properly. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). ALL ABOUT THIS BLOG. Festival City 10k Run.

Field House Chronicles: October 2013
http://fieldhousechronicles.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 7, 2013. A couple of years back I picked up one of those garden benches someone had put out at the curb, with the intention of fixing it up. The wooden slats were rotted and covered in fungus, and the fasteners had all corroded through. My dad had a friend wanting to get rid of some wood in his garage, so on a trip to Toronto I picked it all up. It included some thick cedar tongue and groove, which Rudi and I cut down into strips to rebuild the seat. Sunday, October 6, 2013. I looked onli...

Field House Chronicles: April 2012
http://fieldhousechronicles.blogspot.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Sunday, April 8, 2012. Easter Saturday Dinner. Grilled Salmon. The salmon on the now one year old Weber Genesis barbeque, best five hundred bucks I have ever spent in my life! Salmon in black bean sauce, on an edge formed double layer aluminum foil tray. Salmon, rice, asparagus, and broccoli. Mmmmm good eats. The nice thing about this grilling technique is the meat pulls away easily, leaving the skin against the aluminum foil. Saturday, April 7, 2012. Labels: Mason and Risch. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

The right hand end of the kitchen bulkhead showing (from the right) 3" toilet drain, 3" vertical vent stack (the one that passes up the newly built wall), 2" drain from clawfoot tub, and then a 90 degree bend to continue vertically downward to the basement. It's difficult to imagine that the waste plumbing visible in this bulkhead was previously installed through the floor joists of the bathroom. Acccck! Not fun, whatsoever. Our adventu...
