Outlaw's Outlet: 2008 - Year in review
http://lastwordfreak.blogspot.com/2008/12/2008-year-in-review.html
Wednesday, December 31, 2008. 2008 - Year in review. I have not blogged on this topic ever, but it does look like a good idea, given that a blog is really also an archive of thoughts to reflect on later reading. So here I go. This entry is about my life in 2008, so - those looking for a global events review might give this a skip. Got really health conscious thanks to an overdose of ready to eat I was consuming in Australia. Was glad to be back in India in late January. I only remember some good times wi...

Outlaw's Outlet: It is not really "Chennai" Super Kings playing out there
http://lastwordfreak.blogspot.com/2009/04/it-is-not-really-chennai-super-kings.html
Saturday, April 18, 2009. It is not really "Chennai" Super Kings playing out there. I have half a mind to stop watching CSK games after today's CSK match. Dhoni is 100% responsible for it. He picks Parthiv Patel ahead of Chennai's Vijay. I think Vijay is better in these conditions being a test class opener. But that's still acceptable. He drops Balaji for a different combination of bowlers. Not fair on someone picked to play test cricket for India not too long ago. Who is Viraj Vilas Kadbe? He is 19....

Outlaw's Outlet: August 2008
http://lastwordfreak.blogspot.com/2008_08_01_archive.html
Tuesday, August 26, 2008. What a song. Outstanding bass guitars. Excellent support to what is a flowing, wonderful and happy song. Perfect for those in a mood to appreciate the emotion. Excellent strings in the BGM and the typical 80s Ilayaraja humming sections. Unobtrusive and free flowing singing by S Janaki and SPB adds to the effect. Happiness all round on listening to the song. Monday, August 18, 2008. Looks like my batting skills (if ever I had them) are on the run downhill. Tuesday, August 12, 2008.

Outlaw's Outlet: July 2008
http://lastwordfreak.blogspot.com/2008_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 30, 2008. Musical rediscoveries on a sleepy midnight. BK and me had this conversation on midnight today, and it really proved to be a wonderful stressbuster for both of us. But more importantly, it also unearthed some songs which we had taken for granted and dismissed as "GREAT songs, but we have listened to them enough, haven't we? Sonnaalum Kaetpadhillai (Kadhal Virus) - In what has to be among the three most beautiful romantic melodies of ARR, "Soft" and "Lilting" reaches new heights&#...

Gotcha Suckers!!!!: October 2006
http://aljaljira.blogspot.com/2006_10_01_archive.html
I say it best, when I say nothing at all. Specially if nothing can be blown up into a 600 /- 300 word blog post. Monday, October 30, 2006. I Have Read That Somewhere. Popularly known as Kodhi, a nickname he bestowed upon himself as a dedication to the leper community, (much to the chagrin of his granny and quite a few of his other relatives), our man is quite the dude who deserves all the good fortune he has had, and then some. Well, maybe the last part isn't entirely untrue. Nevertheless, the book is av...

Dorky Guffaw is a Chick Flick stud, according to Monkee. So much so, that to augment his already tarred and feathered reputation vis-a-vis aforementioned genre of movies, he's also been privy to a surprise birthday present, details of which will be presented later in the post. Dorky's DVD collection included Wild Things and Cruel Inte...
