Saturday, February 21, 2009. We had a very uneventful trip completion from Fargo today. The sun was shining, and the –12c was not too bad. Even the Customs officer was gentle with us, and waved us through. We had a very enjoyable trip this time, and spent a month visiting with the Florida relatives. . Monday, July 4, 2011. Day 3 Life in the Black Hills. Things don’t always work out like we planned. We were planning to visit the Jewel Cave, then make our way to Mount Rushmore. All the tour tickets to the Jewel Cave were sold out, and we found that out after driving 52 miles from our motel. The Ranger was very helpful, and called the other major cave in the area called the Wind Cave. It is a larger operation, and we were able to drive to it and get tour tickets. Saturday, July 2, 2011. A Black Hills Adventure Begins…. We had a grand time meandering about these beautiful falls right in the centre of Sioux Falls, and hung around to catch a light show after sundown. Not much else to report for today, but I thought I would pass along some sample pictures of the Falls Park….
