Audaciously Diving Into the Depths

Audaciously Diving Into the Depths. Wednesday, July 16, 2014. This week, in addition to my normal CSA share, I brought home armloads of fresh veggies from my friends' farm near Ithaca, NY. The summer bounty included: basil, kale, beets (with greens), red onions, zucchini, summer squash, Swiss chard, parsley, lettuce, snap peas, and a cucumber. You basically just rub the kale with olive oil, lime juice and salt to soften it and then fold it into a delicious taco. I like to use corn tortillas. It w...Next ...

Audaciously Diving Into the Depths: Life Update

http://audaciouslydivingintothedepths.blogspot.com/2009/02/life-update.html

Audaciously Diving Into the Depths. Friday, February 20, 2009. I'll start with the big news first (just got it about 5 min. ago) - I got into graduate school! Work is good, but stressful. I'm back at Sam's. Who knew managing a pizza shop would be stressful? That's enough of an update for now. I don't get cell phone reception at my house, but call and leave me a message and I'll get back to you when I have bars. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Newaygo, MI, United States. Audaciously Diving Into the Depths: June 2009

http://audaciouslydivingintothedepths.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html

Audaciously Diving Into the Depths. Wednesday, June 3, 2009. And my hands still smell of thyme and fresh lettuce. It's wonderful to get fresh, local vegetables again and get creative with them. Yesterday I took a break from work to do my own grocery shopping. On the way home I stopped by Flayvor's and tried the Hadley Grass ice cream. It was surprisingly light and delicious. I also picked up fresh asparagus and strawberries. Mmmm! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Newaygo, MI, United States.

Audaciously Diving Into the Depths: CSA Time!

http://audaciouslydivingintothedepths.blogspot.com/2014/06/csa-time.html

Audaciously Diving Into the Depths. Monday, June 30, 2014. So I am restarting this blog as a food blog, mostly as a way to keep track of my own recipes, so I can remember what was amazing and what was just eh. I'm getting a CSA from Rustic Roots Farm. Which is run by people who work at the Aquarium (I work at the New England Aquarium in Boston, MA now btw). So, on the menu was:. 1) Radish leaf pesto - your basic pesto, but using radish greens, and adding a bit of lemon juice. 3) Salad - This is one of my...

Audaciously Diving Into the Depths. Monday, July 7, 2014. In the share today is rainbow chard, spring onions, a bit of cilantro and some snap peas. I'm planning to saute the chard with a bit of garlic for my breakfast eggs, toss the cilantro into some corn and beans and rice, pop the snap peas in my mouth, and save the spring onions for grilling or roasting later. Audaciously Ambitious | Why wait to be the person you want to be?

Why wait to be the person you want to be? To have a family or to become a yoga instructor…wait, what? To achieve your goals, you have to learn to make the right choices. Sounds easy enough, but will I have to sacrifice some goals on my list to achieve others? While my title may suggest this type of dilemma in a silly way, I do have real questions about how I’m going to accomplish everything on my list, even in its incomplete state. Where do I start? The Goal Setting Guide. Also–while I’m thin...That&#821...

Audaciously Andrea

A collection of musings and snapshots of her fortunate life. June 07, 2015. In the co-op off Nicollet Avenue, where I work, with the beige awning and hydrangeas in one window. I sat on the Saturday waiting for my shift to end, when this man steps in from the rain. His brown leather coat dripping onto the mat that laid inside the door. His handsome glowing brown eyes matched the pigment in his dark skin. Ok, don't stare. My just fine life said to me, fifteen more minutes. All the next week this went on.

Mild Blend of Truth & Fiction: heavy on pretension

Mild Blend of Truth and Fiction: heavy on pretension. Friday, June 1, 2007. I don't know whose idea it was to put a comic book store in a restaurant, but it doesn't work. Especially since the racks of comics, some of them looking pretty exciting, were set up where the servers picked up the food from the kitchen. In fact, the entire layout of the restaurant was a little odd. It descended. Lady would steal and throw away whatever it was you were needing. Which is too bad, I'm. Getting tired of the extra sh...
