The ground was very damp and when some Cu’s did start to pop, the base was very low, and the development was scraggly and weak looking. New Zealand National Paragliding Team - competing at the Paragliding World Championships in Manilla, New South Wales, Australia. Monday, 5 March 2007. Day 9: Monday 5th March. NZ is now in 7th place. If team results were based on the best three pilots, rather than the teams best three flights for each day, then NZ would still be in 5th position. Posted by Team Kahu. Monday, March 05, 2007. Hopefully that will be resolved by the next Worlds, but in the meantime, we all know you are beating them!

Team Kahu 07: Scoring systems
http://teamkahu07.blogspot.com/2007/03/day-10-tuesday-6th-march.html
New Zealand National Paragliding Team - competing at the Paragliding World Championships in Manilla, New South Wales, Australia. Tuesday, 6 March 2007. If country rankings were based on the average score of all the team members then New Zealand would be coming second! If you wanted to be really perverse about scoring systems (almost as unfair as the current system) then if you took each country's lowest three scoring pilots then NZ would be coming first!
