Method Into Maddness: Truro, Nova Scotia
http://methodintomaddness.blogspot.com/2012/01/truro-nova-scotia.html
Wednesday, 18 January 2012. Truro, Nova Scotia. The plane landed in Halifax after 10:00 at night, which just gave us enough time to grab a rental car and go as far as Truro before we packed it in for the night. The building looked nice from the outside, but the finishing inside was bad - cheap materials, cracks and holes here and there, and no soundproofing. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Method Into Maddness: August 2012
http://methodintomaddness.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 15 August 2012. They ain't the Ropers. I was just reading fellow basement-dweller/aspiring-above-ground renter Jamie's blog, and my curiousity was piqued by a reference he made to a property in the Yonge and St Clair area. He said it was owned by one of Toronto's "most notorious slumlord families". So, natch, I just had to use my librarian powers to find out who that was, because I don't want to be renting from them if I can help it. Tuesday, 14 August 2012. It's "for all intents and purposes"...

Method Into Maddness: January 2012
http://methodintomaddness.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 18 January 2012. A few weeks ago, the media was all abuzz over the creation of a "10 most wanted" Web site for criminals in Quebec. They talked about how it was based on a similar FBI Web site in the U.S., and how immediately after the site launched it was used to find and bust one of the perps. Behind it was a small red roadster, probably something Italian from the 1950s. Behind that was another roadster, then another. Apparently there was some kind of roadster rally going on. Not a racin...

Method Into Maddness: Spoiled by Tourism
http://methodintomaddness.blogspot.com/2012/01/spoiled-by-tourism.html
Wednesday, 18 January 2012. Cape Bretonners are known for their generous hospitality, so when I arrived in Meat Cove - which consists of about ten small houses, a camp/picnicground, and a ramshackle canteen - I was shocked to see this KEEP OUT sign, preventing me from walking to the edge of the cliff to see the spectacular view. In the context of the place and the people, this is downright rude. 15 September 2012 at 17:24. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Truro, Nova Scotia.

Tuesday, 14 August 2012. It's "Au contraire". Not "Oh, contraire! It's "correct me if I'm wrong". Not "current me if I'm wrong.". It's "for all intents and purposes".
