spilled ink: March 2007
http://spilledsomeink.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Monday, March 26, 2007. This weekend was the kickoff weekend of Heather's wedding envelopes. I haven't done calligraphy in a little over a year and it always amazes me how quickly it comes back to me. My hand just sort of knows how it do it. I wish I knew how to do more fonts, but this is my signature look. Posted by lindsey at 12:22 PM. And I'm in here, too! Wednesday, March 21, 2007. Now I have a decision to make. I never thought I would have a choice! Posted by lindsey at 1:12 PM. In the meantime, her...

spilled ink: November 2006

Monday, November 20, 2006. Here is my beautiful antique letterpress set that my mom gave me for my birthday. Aren't the letters so amazing? She found the set in a local antique store and I keep going back to see if they have more letters to add to my collection. I purchased a few pieces on ebay, but the majority came from the store. I am using the letters in a current art project so stay tuned for that. Posted by lindsey at 6:45 PM. Thursday, November 02, 2006. I finally finished my first knitted letter!

Monday, February 05, 2007. So here is the final finished bag. I wanted to do a before and after shot so you could see how much it shrinks after the felting! It is weird to me that it started almost down to my knees and now fits snuggly underneath my arm. Very bizarre. I will definitely do more more felted projects from that great felted book that Heather. Gave me awhile ago. Thanks to Amy for letting me use her washing machine! Posted by lindsey at 1:44 PM. Tuesday, October 24, 2006. This is the house that is not for sale that I want to buy. It reminds me of the many trips I have taken to England and have admired all the thatched roofs. The leaded window panes and curved windows makes me feel like I am back in the UK. Posted by lindsey at 6:43 PM. Friday, October 20, 2006. Stay tuned for more type studies. Monday, January 29, 2007. Posted by lindsey at 11:56 AM. Monday, January 22, 2007. Last year James' aunt had given me some yarn and the pattern for this fabulous tote. She had made me one for Christmas and then was kind enough to send me the pattern! Posted by lindsey at 6:36 PM. Monday, January 08, 2007. Monday, April 30, 2007. Posted by lindsey at 2:34 PM. Color is a Good Thing. Tuesday, April 24, 2007. I'm always on the look out for colorful things. Whether it's yarn or the color of the sky, I am always observant about colors. This week, right next to my office, the city people painted this manhole orange. I like to think of tiny orange elves living underneath in the sewers, running around and knitting to their hearts content. Have you ever seen a manhole this bright before? Wednesday, April 18, 2007.
