Saturday, January 31, 2009. This might be a bit more information than many of you would like to hear. Maybe a little too transparent. My heart was breaking the other night.i couldn't stop it. it was all my fault. it was all my doing. i chose to live that way.to wallow in it.to believe lies when i knew they were empty. The next morning i got down on my knees and begged God to take it away.to have mercy. You ask with a pure heart.and you'll receive, right? Maybe it was because i begged for His mercy. Blogs...

ZOO- need I say more, lions and tigers and bears. and a water play area! July 18, Day 2. Such a pitiful face. She broke one of her toenails pretty badly. We had a little lesson on why she shouldn't wear flip-flops to the zoo. I am so grateful for ALL that Amanda was able to show these two during the stay in Louisville! Bike to park a...

Martin Messenger: 48 Hours after Surgery
http://sethandashleyfamily.blogspot.com/2012/05/48-hours-after-surgery.html
Tuesday, May 29, 2012. 48 Hours after Surgery. We were told that the first 24-48 hours after surgery were critical. It was important that Rex's pain be well-managed and that he not get too upset. If his blood pressure got too high, there would be a risk of busting stitches on his heart. Thankfully, this was never an issue. We headed back to Rex's room where Seth immediately picked him up. He hadn't held Rex since that Monday before surgery. Wow Did I believe that God still performs miracles? Rex's breath...

Monday, September 29, 2014. Grandparents Weekend and Pierced Ears! Lyla brought home the information for Grandparents Day at school and knew exactly who she wanted to come. Since her DDaddy is so amazing and loves her so much, he jumped at the chance! He arrived Saturday afternoon and left Monday after lunch. It was a pretty fun-filled weekend! She looks scared, but she didn't flinch. We loved having DDaddy with us for the weekend! The school held a Grandparents Day program in the gym and also had donuts.

Thursday, July 31, 2014. Before we talk about the awesome time we had at the game, I'll show you Lyla's cute, asymmetrical bob! Her hair was looking quite scraggly and needed a good trim. I like her with short hair. Seth's employer services all of the John Deere equipment for the Lexington Legends so we scored awesome seats for the game! It was the first minor league baseball game for both of the kids. The Legends lost, but it was still a great game AND they had Independence Day fireworks afterward!

Sunday, June 6, 2010. One of my best friends from high school is having a baby next month. i got to go home after church today for her shower and i'll have to admit, i was a little nervous. I haven't kept up with my friends from back home as well as i should have. and if i'm honest.i really regret that. When i think back to my high school days.and i really think about who they were to me i realize they were more to me than just friends. they were family. The list goes on. Blogs i can't get enough of.

Tuesday, June 22, 2010. I've never been much of a planner. never have been. i've always liked to see where things would take me.just kinda float with the wind (as the cliche says). When i was in college, a good friend of mine had a five year plan that looked a little something like this:. Year 1 - get internship with local marketing firm. Year 2 - graduate college/find job at above marketing firm. Year 3 - get engaged. Year 4 - get married. What if you lost that internship? What kind of life is that?

Monday, March 30, 2015. Celebrating the growing Hunt Family! We arrived in Tucker late Friday night for a whirlwind weekend with family. Lyla and DDaddy's tradition: donuts! Lyla was so excited to finally meet her cousin, Emily! We kept Emily so her Mommy and Daddy could have a Valentine's Day lunch date. She put up a fight, but finally fell asleep like this. I loved every minute. Sunday, we hosted a little lunch and mini-baby shower for Jensen and Jesse. Sara and Jennifer with Emily. So proud of her work.
