Tony and Ann's journey through Europe. Monday, October 3, 2011. Santorini - day 32 - photography day. Tony had to take the hire car back by 2pm so he decided to go back to Oia.which is the place we went to yesterday for the sunset.and just take a whole heap of photos. I went along to do a whole heap of shopping.or should I say looking, as there is not much room left in or suitcases. Tony relaxing in the spa.what a life! Sunset on another beautiful day in paradise. Tony and Ann's journey through Europe. Wednesday, August 31, 2011. We breezed through customs and they were all very pleasant with smiling faces.amazing! Some even wished us a great flight! We are in the departure lounge at Brisbane airport.I'm relaxing and starting my blog and Tony .the trip organizer.is busy filing documents and itineraries away in his backpack. Today was going to be a day of last minute shopping, getting our washing done for our departure tomorrow and generally having an easy day . Or so we thought. So we asked if there was a flight today or Thursday for us? No all booked out.the earliest flight is Sat! Was all we could say. And I thought . It's all part of the travel experience! A ferry that left later in the day and was faster.

It started out that I would write the blog to keep mum and dad informed as to where we are and what's happening and it's turned out to be really enjoyable and a wonderful memory of our holiday in years to come. Mum says she gets up every morning eager to see what we've been up to. We also Skype them a lot too which they really enjoyed. So they have really enjoyed our holiday too! Tony and Ann's journey through Europe. Wednesday, October 5, 2011. Santorini - day 34. The days are just rolling by now! We have checked out of our hotel and are now waiting to get on the ferry to take us back to Athens. We also managed to squeeze in a little more shopping this morning but I'm thinking we should have stayed put as I fell over in the street and twisted my ankle. I think it's time to go. This is what's happening over the next few days. Ferry from Santorini to Athens this afternoon.
