Mrs McGarry has performed with Company Dance Traverse, Northwest Michigan Ballet Theatre, and the University Dance Company at University of Michigan. She has also performed in site specific works by Jessica Fogel at the Ann Arbor Arboretum and the Mathias Botanical Gardens. A while ago, I transformed my garage into a small work space by shoving the bits of junk to the edges…err I mean by being terribly organized and proactive! After some cheap mirrors stuck to the walls and some carpet pad with vinyl flooring, I had a mini studio! AuxWerks Blog, How Did This Happen? How Did This Happen? My first job out of college seemed like a dream! I couldn’t believe it! My actual job I got paid to do was to dance! It was exciting to see students light up as a difficult concept or a new step became clear. I felt fulfilled and enjoyed crafting interesting dances based on the pool of available technique and talent. It was great…for a while. There’s this great show you should choreograph for!
