How to comment on blogs. Friday, 19 June 2015. Room 4 completed a science experiment using baking soda and vinegar. It was called the exploding lunch bag! Room 4 found out that the reason the bags puffed up and exploded was because of the reaction between the baking soda and vinegar. It was a fun filled learning afternoon. 23 June 2015 at 12:48. Room 4 have been reading about Maui and the sun and working in their co-operative groups answering lots of questions about Maui and the sun. Today the children started some art work of the Maori sun and they are all doing super wonderful work! It was very exciting for the children and it caused some great discussion on pets. Tuesday, 25 August 2015. We watched a short Goldilocks and the Three a Bears animation and began to try to find out which of these bowls would belong to Daddy, Mummy and Baby Bear. This afternoon we were lucky to have Mr Ensor, Mr Jean-Louis, Miss Spooner and Mr Mill come into a Room 8 to show us how to make Tipare so we can wear them for the Kapa Haka Festival. What a fabulous effort everyone put in. Who can tell us the English word for Tipare? Yesterday all of the Middle Syndicate went outside to practice for Athletics Day.
