Away From Four Marks. Saturday, 28 February 2015. 28th February - Surf Scoter and The New Forest. Wednesday I received an email, an adult Surf Scoter seen in Stokes Bay Gosport. I am in Munich! I scanned the sea and saw two black blobs, and one black and white blob on the sea. The Surf Scoter dived frequently and they seemed quite happy just drifting off shore.
