I was inspired to imprint dried tree leaves across the bracelet surface. To, fossilise the beauty of something fragile and temporary, to a precious metal that is long lasting and enduring. This necklace was inspired from a source by Vivien Westwood (fashion designer) that I considerably adapted. Most of my focus was aiming to have an attractive piece that would hang well as an asymmetrical piece. Adding in two strings of pearls on one side of the necklace produced a one-off show piece. A Wee Run
A wee Arran run. A wee camping trip. The sun was out, well, it wasn’t raining, and after a long winter, thats as good as a day gets, so, a wee nights camping down near the Galloway Forest Park was needed. Getting to the campsite located on a farm called “ Balloch O’Dee. Safe in you house? Posted in Other Stuff. The nights are fair drawing in. Ice on shaded roads. A 'Wee' Scottish Adventure. Wednesday, 16 June 2010. Calgary Bay, Mull. Another beautiful weekend with a group of amazing women to remember an amazing woman! My friends Christy, Ashley, Anna and I rented a car and made the journey out to the Isle of Mull for the two year anniversary of the sad day my Mum passed away. Since my family and I scattered her ashes on Mull's Calgary Bay, I was so grateful to be there on June 12th. Once it was completely dark, Anna provided great entertainment with her fire poy.
