The Climbing Life: The Tesseract
http://theclimbinglife.blogspot.com/2015/07/the-tesseract.html
Wednesday, July 15, 2015. Summer continues apace here in Southern Alberta. The weather has been hot and dry (perhaps more suited for water sports), and last Sunday was no exception (though it was perhaps only 25C). Excited to get out bouldering, I bought a coffee and drove out to Frank Slide to find some boulders to put some chalk on. V1) and a fun V2ish (harder? Dyno called Kmart Special. I wanted to try Rise of The Pheonix. V5), a very cool problem I had failed on (badly! V4), which was very fun. New, ...

The Climbing Life: July 2015
http://theclimbinglife.blogspot.com/2015_07_01_archive.html
Monday, July 27, 2015. Midsummer is a bittersweet time for a boulderer, or for any outdoor enthusiast. While there is lots of time yet to climb and to work on projects, there isn't as much time as there was a month ago. As such, I always feel a sense of urgency at this time of year; a need to try harder, to get out more, and to be a little more determined. We knew that Peter Kwan (as well as his fun (and amazingly funny! Trent versus Slippery Pete. Thanks to Peter Kwan for the great photos! Kyle has some...

O R C K A: Lower St. Marys at 450
http://orckalethbridge.blogspot.com/2010/06/lower-st-marys-at-450.html
Sunday, June 20, 2010. Lower St. Marys at 450. Here's the pictures and video from our run down the Lower St. Marys. As was mentioned before everything is washed out, but there was a ton of big waves and haystacks. The waves running hairpin felt like they were 6 to 9ft high. Not sure if that's due to the fact that I was getting worked a bit or they really were that big. Maybe something below will interest you. Dont know if they compete though. 3:42 PM, June 20, 2010. Hey Mark and Clay,. Castle II to IV-.
