December 2, 2015. 125 is a nice number divisible by 5. 125 the number of days, before I start my 5-month long journey on the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). The PCT is 2, 600 mile long which is also divisible by 5. I was supposed to get off work today at 5 pm today. I did not, thankfully the PCT distracts my focus because 6 is not divisible by 5, but I had to cover one negative person so if take out subtract the one, there would be five. Newer post →. Washington is beautiful, Mt Rainier, Knives Edge, fresh berries along the trail, even trekked through some more snow! Broke both my trekking poles! Go take a hike.

Gosh, I can’t believe I am so close to the end. It all has gone by so vey fast. But the PCT being the PCT we have been thrown a curve ball, a fire detour. The wolverine/blankenshi fire has closed 13 miles of the trail. Yea, no more duct taped tent poles, that was ridiculous (even though I am the queen of makin do).
