Enkelt sagt er mikrofinans rett og slett små lån. Organisering såvel som finansiering varierer. Fra Grameen Bank med mange ansatte og høye lånerenter, via hjelpeorganisasjoner som gir veiledning i hvordan opprette og drive spare- og lånegrupper, til vår variant AWIP – som gir rentefrie lån til de aller fattigste og kun. Selv dekker jeg alle utgifter av egen lomme. Når jeg bruker ferien til å reise til Ghana. AWIP er registrert i Brønnøysundregisteret i Norge med org.nr 990 145 628.
