Family with Disabilities/Mental Illness. October 25, 2013. My 13-year-old son was released to do all activity except swimming yesterday. He was practically dancing in the doctor’s office! On another note, my 5-year-old was approved for services at the child development center. This means he will be able to attend preschool for 1 more year and hopefully regain some of the skills he has lost. Since their school is geared toward kiddos that have special needs, it will be the perfect place for him!

He qualifies for cognitive, speech, vision, and fine motor therapies. This also means he can attend pre-K there free of charge. He starts in 2 weeks.
