Neglecting My Kids: Surrender
http://neglectedkids.blogspot.com/2015/08/surrender.html
Finding new ways to ensure my children will need therapy, one day at a time. Tuesday, August 04, 2015. My shelf with my wips is getting a little out of control. Apparently I REALLY like pink project bags. My purple yarn is officially in a time out. It needs to learn to knit nicely. I've got a plan for it. I'm feeling fairly confident about the new course of action. It is a combination of all my previous techniques. But I haven't tried it out yet. I've been a little distracted. But that alpaca yarn. I loo...

Creative Hope: February 2012
http://creative-hope.blogspot.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, 25 February 2012. Tim's Rosette die blooms. The other day I noticed some handmade flowers created on Ellen Hutson. To get a two tone flower you could wrap to strips at the same time. The tissue paper is very thin so I've doubled it up before rolling and rolled two lengths of the die. With the metal one I've backed the metal with card using humungo tape. I guess you could emboss or stamp the metal to match you layouts. These may also work with Tim's smaller Rosette die but I haven't tried these.

Friday, 17 February 2012. A change from pink. Its been a while, with a sick hubby, a teething baby and poor Internet connection I thought I would never get another post complete, but here I am. This is the first time Ive had a min, my big news is that I have won the my mojo monthly January challenge. I couldn't believe it. Sarah has sent me a lovely Timmy die and a beautifully decorated journal. I hope to find time to play along this month. Posted by Rachael Mitchell. 21 February 2012 at 14:53. What a st...

Neglecting My Kids: The Return Of Boyd
http://neglectedkids.blogspot.com/2006/02/return-of-boyd.html
Finding new ways to ensure my children will need therapy, one day at a time. Friday, February 17, 2006. The Return Of Boyd. Legal Disclaimer: The Greatest formally protests the pictures in this post. I have assured him that everyone has a spot like this in their home. Having said that, here I go. I have a confession to make. I lost Boyd. I know he was hanging out in the Christmas Tree. Then we took the tree down and he just disappeared. Was I sad to have lost Boyd? What's he been up to? Boyd seemed rathe...

Creative Hope: Prima penny farthing
http://creative-hope.blogspot.com/2014/05/prima-penny-farthing.html
Saturday, 10 May 2014. Today I would like to share an altered frame from Prima. It's a penny farthing, after many colour changes I eventually settled on black with a hint of gold spray. Inside the large wheel I have used lace, vintage findings and Prima's mechanicals by Finnabair's. I have coloured the metals with Luminarte powders in spray format and Luminarte silks. These paints are beautiful intense pigments which give an amazing lustre on embellishments. Posted by Rachael Mitchell.

A place where two crafty sisters have come together…. September 20, 2014. I wanted to pop in and share a smidge of what I have been doing. My need to do things for those I love has been in full swing and has led to a bit of my wip’s finally getting done. I managed to finish Stephanie’s scarf and boot cuffs from the alpaca from two years ago. (Shame on me for letting such wonderful yarn just grump about in a bin! My niece,Stephanie, and her little dog too! The e-book is The Goddeses. Just a bit…. Happy be...

Tuesday, 26 July 2011. Oh to be 6 years old! We have just recently joined the National Trust and plan to see as many as places we can in a year. Last Sunday the weather was lovely so we went over to Droitwich to Hanbury Hall, it's absolutely stunning and well worth a look even if you aren't a member. The gardens were amazing and so well cared for. Righto I'm off to the shops for garlic bread cos we can't possibly have pasta without it! Saturday, 16 July 2011. Your eyes do not deceive you!
