Joan Carden was born in Melbourne in 1937 on the anniversary of the great composer Giuseppe Verdi’s birth. The Choir welcomes new members and for 2016 is particularly interested in hearing from tenors. Whilst graduates and staff of Sydney University are given priority, you do not need to be a graduate of Sydney University or any other university to join the choir. We offer various forms of support for choristers to improve their singing skills. To join, an audition with the Music Director is required.
