Our little house on the cyberprairie. Friday, June 12, 2009. Teaching Jr. High in June. The end is almost here! Thank goodness for summers off, because it's just not healthy to work with hundreds of manic pubescents for extended periods of time. I'm looking forward to playing a few summer gigs with PRE/POST. At the end of the month. Come have a cold beverage and listen to some good summer music. 1 comments on this post. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. Teaching Jr. High in June.

tyrnandkelsey: May 2009

http://tyrnandkelsey.blogspot.com/2009_05_01_archive.html

Our little house on the cyberprairie. Sunday, May 24, 2009. Finally this cold spring has started to turn. We were lucky to have nice weather for a picnic with Ma. It was exciting to set up our yard (our first spring in our new house) for our V.I.P! My bro came for the event too, but managed to find a wifi signal on his ipod, so lunch took a back seat. I wish I had a picture of him trying to play frisbee with is ipod in his hand. So it was basically a must to go to the zoo. I know she's a baby, but sheesh!

tyrnandkelsey: April 2009

http://tyrnandkelsey.blogspot.com/2009_04_01_archive.html

Our little house on the cyberprairie. Sunday, April 19, 2009. A long time ago (Easter Sat) two brave adventurers traveled EAST of Highway #2. (Yes, the province extends east of the QE2.) The adventurers found a wonderful family living in a place called Brownfield. As spring was being uncovered all around them, the adventurers decided to take a look at the past life in this area, as new life starts again. The adventurers forged rushing streams. (synchronized jumping). And they just sat and looked pretty.

http://tyrnandkelsey.blogspot.com/2009_03_01_archive.html

Our little house on the cyberprairie. Thursday, March 19, 2009. This weekend we went to K'naan. Check him out- this was one of the best shows that we have been to for a LONG time. He is FANTASTIC. He inspires movement in your feet and your heart. On Sunday, Mat and Tyrn bottled our first attempt at wine making. We can't believe how good it is, especially the red. It took the boys about 3 hours to fill, cork, label and seal the bottles. Seriously, we have lots of it- COME OFTEN! 3 comments on this post.

Our little house on the cyberprairie. Sunday, October 04, 2009. Fort Edmonton Meets Its Match. Last weekend we took in the free attractions day in Edmonton. Yes, free! With a donation to the food bank) We planned to see Fort Edmonton, the zoo, the Muttart Conservatory, and go swimming. Turns out though, that we're not the only people who heard about this free day, and so the last three didn't happen due to ridiculously long line ups. Social Experiment: A Year in Frugality

Wednesday, August 11, 2010. Day 11 into my experiment. I won't lie, I haven't been perfect. I've made mistakes, and the plan is definitely going to have to change, but I am learning so much about myself through this. One of those things that I am learning is that I feel entitled. A lot.
