November 9, 2011. Find your soul in Pilanesberg. A cool and cloudy late morning in Pilanesberg. Usually at that of the day the animals are well hidden from the heat of the sun. But today they are out. The Lengau Dam right next to the Bakubung entrance gate is full with animals grazing around and drinking water. First we spot zebras and impalas. Impalas and a zebra. A time to rest : hippo and ibis. Driving slowly is essential. We are following these tall, quiet and elelgant animals . Turtles and a catfish.
