A Year of No Fear

Fear is a stronghold for so many. I believe that God wants me to allow Him to break this stronghold in my life and hopefully open the door for it to be broken in other people's lives as well. I am a grateful child of God, cancer survivor, wife to Jeremy, and mom to 2 amazing boys.

The (un)Intentional Housewife: May 2014

http://thinkeditup.blogspot.com/2014_05_01_archive.html

Saturday, May 31, 2014. Time keeps on slipping.into the future. ha. It reminds me of kids (or adults) counting down to vacation. It's fun and exciting, mom and dad have told us we are going, but if we left right away we wouldn't have a place to stay. The place to stay will be ready when it's our time. And we will be ready, packed, prepared, and responsibilities taken care of. We finished 4th and 5th grade this year, which means I will be teaching a middle schooler next year! Very late bedtime calls!

The (un)Intentional Housewife: April 2013

http://thinkeditup.blogspot.com/2013_04_01_archive.html

Friday, April 19, 2013. Today marks one week since my Mawmaw made her move from this world to the next. At 90 years old, many of her friends and family had gone before her, so I know she enjoyed reuniting with them as much as she would have hated leaving those she did behind here. She also lost her husband as one family member said "in the prime of their lives." Truly, to lose your helper and love in your 40s must have been difficult! A wife of noble character. She is worth far more than rubies. She sets...

The (un)Intentional Housewife: October 2013

http://thinkeditup.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html

Wednesday, October 23, 2013. Ruby had her first visit to the ER last week. She was so pitiful! This picture was taken on Friday. She got in my lap and asked to be rocked with the blanket. She took a really good nap for a little while at least. This was taken this past Tuesday. After she felt a little bit better she would just fall asleep whenever and wherever she would be able to get comfortable for a few minutes. She was sleeping hard! Moved onto the floor completely! Corey celebrated his first annivers...

http://thinkeditup.blogspot.com/2013_11_01_archive.html

Monday, November 11, 2013. Since Ruby has been about.eh. 1 day old.she's been pretty high maintenance. Beginning with a sensitivity to milk, putting me completely dairy free for about eight months, and suffering with some severe reflux, she's always kept us on our toes. Napping and sleeping are no different. Don't get me wrong, she slept well very early on, and hasn't ever really REFUSED to sleep, except that time I forgot to get my frappe DECAF when she was about 5-6 months old. It's my favit (favorite)".

The (un)Intentional Housewife: Back to School 2014! (picture heavy and long!)

http://thinkeditup.blogspot.com/2014/07/back-to-school-2014-picture-heavy-and.html

Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Back to School 2014! Picture heavy and long! Big changes this year for our homeschool! 1 is that Ruby will be attending a twice per week 3 year old program at Education Play Station. It's the same place that Katie and Noah have taken afternoon homeschool classes for years now, and only a five minute drive. This will open up our day twice per week to get a lot DONE! Both the big kids AND Corey we hope! Secondly, I am giving Katie and Noah more responsibility! We are having to wai...

The (un)Intentional Housewife: January 2013

http://thinkeditup.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html

Wednesday, January 16, 2013. I have no q,v,b ctrl, or up arrow. But, worst of all, I have no spacebar. Which makes typing extremely laborious and slooooow. Ruby, Ruby, Ruby. Life with a toddler. Things are going well so far with my goal of being intentional in 2013. I have gone to bed more often than not with a clean kitchen. And on most days I could open my front door without embarrassment. ha. My hand is already killing me from stopping and straining to get that spacebar hit. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Tuesday, December 11, 2012. You are reading the right blog! I decided to change things up. I can't even remember when I last changed the layout of my blog.it's been years for sure. I checked and this is my 639th post (give or take a couple of unfinished or non posted posts). There are things I want to do! Take the kids to hear an orchestra. Hike to a waterfall. Get a passport. Make homemade pasta! I never intended to become a stay at home housewife. My "plan" was to do the whole working thing, and "m...

http://thinkeditup.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html

Friday, August 23, 2013. Being a Responsible Parent. SoI'm just minding my own business, sharpening pencils. Ruby was brushing her teeth in the bathroom with her Nanna. Then, Nanna comes out of the bathroom. Without Ruby. Is Ruby still in there with you? No, I haven't seen her since she was brushing her teeth.". It doesn't take long for us to find her. She is SO VERY GOOD at being quiet. I mean, I remember it wasn't that long ago, that quiet meant something completely adorable.like this:. But I have now.
