Building a Community of Hope in Haiti. Skip to primary content. April 7, 2015. Somewhat of a tourist morning the mall of Haiti set out their wares in Pastor Etienne’s courtyard for us. They are men from the area. Very nice things, we bought a lot. Then we went to the German sewing school for tour and shopping. They have a program to help women to make money by doing needlework, in addition to the home ec school. They do beautiful work. Windy night Judy is actually cold! This entry was posted in Feb 2015.

When we do clinics, we sell tickets and the money goes to the church where we do it, so we are helping them to get a roof. Slow today because it is market day. Not as hectic as most I have been in, thank God! Naphtalie made wonderful cake for me, because when we were talking about cake a few days ago, I said I like Haitian cake best! She is so sweet. Then today she told me she could not make the cake, so I said I would have to come back, and she said no, you have to stay. Then surprise! And tagged Feb 2015.
