VT and NH highpoints. Wednesday, July 06, 2005. Mt Mansfield (July 3). Matt and I hiked Mt. Mansfield during part of an East Coast Highpoint Trip. We drove from New York and arrived late thinking we could camp at the base of the mountain, but the gate was closed by the time we got there. Wednesday, July 06, 2005. Mt Marcy (July 2). Matt and I hiked Mt. Marcy during part of an East Coast Highpoint Trip. We didn’t start this hike until just before noon which is not the best time to start a hike up a mountain! But as soon as we started climbing, they disappeared. The hike was beautiful! Wednesday, July 06, 2005. Ebright Azimuth (July 5). I drove Matt to Ebright Azimuth during part of an East Coast Highpoint Trip. Italian ice which was the highpoint of the day for me! MI and MN highpoints. Monday, August 15, 2005. I'm writing this well after a year after the fact so I may get a few details wrong. In the July of 2004, after we'd been dating for about 4 months, Matt decided it was time to take me away for a weekend. Since he had a red eye flight, we took a nap for a good part of the day. We then went to see an early evening showing of Star Wars and I have to say all and all, I loved it! But it was fun.

Wednesday, July 06, 2005. Matt and I hiked up Katahdin during part of an East Coast Highpoint Trip. I feel pretty safe saying this was the most enjoyable hiking experience I’ve ever had.
