So early tomorrow morning we all truck back to Spokane for an 8:30am appt with the audiologist to review the BAHA implant procedures then head across town to get a CAT scan of Azlan's head to give us the final green light that we are clear to go. They came out and whisked us right in (I have to admit I hate when I try to courteously call and let them know we'll be 10 minutes late and they make such a big deal out of it.yet I always wait 30-40 min in the waiting room? Wednesday, November 11, 2009. We got up pretty early (for us.I'm NOT a morning person.if you know me.you know that! To head to Spokane last Friday. We get to Sacred Heart on time (! No problem. He loved it all. The speech therapist said she has NEVER had a child do so well with the test! A) Mama is NOT making it up that he aspirates! Important one ;). B) that he does need therapy to strengthen those muscles. So in 15 minutes I texted Dean and he was SHOCKED that we were done! Friday, November 06, 2009.

Thursday, September 03, 2009. Ahhh a long awaited day. Dr Omar Husein. He was our doctor of the day. Highly qualified an ENT that specialized in ear reconstruction and also a full plastic surgeon. Good news: in audiology Azlan responded FIVE times to 15 decibel sounds in his good ear! So it appears like he does have complete hearing in that ear! Such a great thing to hear. The doctor then gave me my best news ever.that THERE IS SOMETHING TO HELP HIS DEAF EAR! He will be able to localize sound! He ordered...

At first Ian and Josiah would get real colse to the tank to see Mister Smee scamper around scared to death. We put a end to that and he seems to be getting used to the boys:).
