Friday, October 23, 2009. Well we went camping over October break with the Kasl Family. We went to one of our favorite spots up on the rim just east of Forest lakes. There is never another camp on this side of the Highway. We had a great time with some great friends. This is a Photo of our camp. This is the Kasl Rig. This is the Goodman Rig. Saturday, October 31, 2009. Well yesterday morning was the opener for our 2009 hunt. We only had a couple days for scouting in the unit, But knew we had a few spots from past. Trips that we wanted to check into. We found out that those spots had a good turn out of bucks being taken in the first hunt. We decided that most of the bucks had been taken closer to the road and went there in hopes that maybe no one else had gone in as far as we wanted to go. Hill and one was a buck. We honored. Saturday, December 27, 2008. Rosin starts his rock climbing. Well today when we went shooting Tatum went up the trail to the Van. Rosin went also. He never takes the beaten path , and makes his own trail. (yes this scares us). He checks his footing. Of concern is a good thing. But then he turns and decides to go for it. All the hope we had for that split second that we thought he would change his mind and go the easy way was gone. And so he scales the face of the little cliff. Tatum shooting the 22 rifle.
