Stamp Acts: January 2013
http://stampacts.blogspot.com/2013_01_01_archive.html
Tuesday, January 1, 2013. A sleepover with five boys and lots of noise! It was a good call on my part that this playroom was above the garage. The noise was significantly less than in the last house where his playroom was just above my bedroom). They played Wii, board games, had Nerf gun wars, watched movies and ate a lot! Foster said he had a good time and he deserved the sleepover. He really was awesome through the whole move. That kid never ceases to amaze me! Here's some before and after shots.

Stamp Acts: Love Thy Neighbor!
http://stampacts.blogspot.com/2013/11/love-thy-neighbor.html
Thursday, November 21, 2013. Foster and I weren't even in the house six months when I had ankle surgery that resulted in no driving for quite awhile and working from home for over two months. It is humbling to be so independent then suddenly have to depend on other people for even the most basic of things. And the list of help is long. Kristy staying with me the first few nights and making sure I followed all orders. Rachel and Jamie driving me all over Raleigh and Wake Forest. They brought over a bean b...

Monday, March 18, 2013. It's North Carolina and so it takes very little white stuff for school to get cancelled.much to Foster's joy! The first snow at the new house (back in Jan, my blogging is behind! Started at night just before his bedtime. Foster ran on the back porch, saw it snowing and then ran laps around the couch singing "It's Snowing! For my part, I was relieved! His friend Ethan hitching a ride! Foster and Ethan making snow angels. Even Max got in on the action! What a sweet kid! Alas, he lef...

http://stampacts.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Sunday, December 22, 2013. Vacation I: Great Wolf! Foster and I vacationed with our friends Melissa and Ethan this year. It was, in part, because it was uncertain whether or not I'd be able to drive, but also because a vacation like this should include two. Smart, obsessed, baseball loving boys! Ethan's brother Jonah joined us for the Great Wolf part of the trip). And I could have sworn I took pictures during the quest but I can't find them! Here's a few fun shots I did remember to capture.

Stamp Acts: June 2012
http://stampacts.blogspot.com/2012_06_01_archive.html
Sunday, June 24, 2012. Day 5: Animal Kingdom. Much of Animal Kingdom was spent, as you would imagine, checking out the animals. So this final post on our Disney trip will be more pictures than words—as it should be. We started our day off with the Safari. It’s always a crap shoot which animals you might see on the preservation vs which are hidden. But we did okay…. Best looking mammal out there! The cheetahs actually showed up better on camera than what we were actually able to see during the trip. And i...

http://stampacts.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Friday, May 17, 2013. It only took me about two and half days to plan Foster's birthday party but two and half months to finally sit down and blog about it! The fun was at Adventure Landing in Raleigh which has golf, go-karts, games, laser tag, a party room and we did it all! First up was the game room and Foster and his buddies were all about playing the games that allowed them to collect tickets to turn in for prizes. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). Subscribe to our blog. Stamp Acts: August 2012
http://stampacts.blogspot.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Monday, August 27, 2012. It's that time again! Today was the first day of school. Before we headed out, we took a few shots without the school gear. He made sure to tell me I was making him wear "church clothes". Once upon a time, he was less vocal about my preppy style! And there ain't nothing "church" about those crazy shoes! Since they weren't here, this picture is for Grandmama and Daddy.those are so their pretty cheeks! Thank you RayBans for hiding the tears! Sometimes I'm not so sure. Here's to a g...

Stamp Acts: July 2012
http://stampacts.blogspot.com/2012_07_01_archive.html
Thursday, July 5, 2012. Foster has advanced another belt in Kenpo! On Saturday, he received his yellow belt. He really enjoys karate and I'm always so impressed when I watch him! Way to go, Foster! Tuesday, July 3, 2012. Foster's first camp of the summer was at NC State. We drove him to Doak Field for four days so he could learn some techniques from former and current coaches and players. Day 1: Ready to go! Though he was more ready than I was. Leaving him there by himself was tough! That's a lot of kids!
