Sunday, March 20, 2011. I need to blog and catch everyone up to date. I just knew it would take forever to do, and I have zero free time being a new mommy. But my dad is here at the hospital today sitting with Sawyer and now I have an opportunity to write. SooRewind to December 28th. Tuesday, June 12, 2012. So, as I'm a single parent for the time being, I am responsible for our toddler every minute of the day. It's not extraordinarily hard or inconvenient, but routine is everything to me, as I depend on it to get me through the day-to-day. Seems a bit more normal for a child his age, eh. He slept like a rock, and woke up at 6:00 am. I am soo ashamed I can't even fathom what could have potentially happened if I wasn't awake. That one time I was in the NICU. Sites I frequently visit.

Saturday, March 17, 2012. Just close your eyes. This has been my comfort song as of late. I play it about 50 times before bed. So beautiful and calming. And during the day I watch at least two or three episodes of Downton Abbey because it's such a cozy show. Makes me happy and appreciative of my home that I feel safe in. Makes me appreciate my village of a town I live in. And FINALLY, it's snowing. If only I had a footman to start a fire for me. That one time I was in the NICU. Just close your eyes.

Saturday, November 20, 2010. Slightly melted Moose Tracks ice cream sounds perfect right now. I had my last check-up last week. I'm going bi-monthly now (eek! Glucose test went a lot better than I anticipated. Drink wasn't too bad, but really sweet. Got blood taken and I did awesome! Just found that out.
