A View Into Our Lives: April 2014
http://aviewintoourlives.blogspot.com/2014_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 29, 2014. Lunch on the Lawn. I just love her to pieces! It was so nice to get a little glimpse into her day at school. Monday, April 28, 2014. When the TK program opened two years ago Aubrey was eligible since she was a fall birthday as well. But it was a brand new program and she would have been moving to district speech services, and would not have qualified. I am so thankful we made the decision to not send Aubrey to TK. It wasn't right for her. However, TK is going to be perfect for Ad...

Monday, January 27, 2014. Addy doesn't do anything half-hearted. When she sets her mind to something. she does it. and does it in a BIG way. Mom, can I wear a bracelet? Sure, go ahead.". This is how she came out of her bedroom. I love her zest for life. Wednesday, January 22, 2014. We have been working really hard on all of Aubrey's skills for kindergarten. Geesh! What used to be first grade is now what they require in kinder! I think Aubrey's confidence level went up a few notches today. How awesome!

http://aviewintoourlives.blogspot.com/2013_12_01_archive.html
Tuesday, December 31, 2013. It's pajama day at casa de Sanders, so finally I get a little time to sit down and blog about Christmas. We've been busy with all the holiday happenings and family in town. But now I think things have settled down and we are going to enjoy the rest of our lazy winter vacation. Complete with a scrapbooking retreat for mom this weekend! It was off to bed to dream about Santa and opening gifts in the morning. Oh the excitement! Tuesday, December 24, 2013. It's annual tradition in...

A View Into Our Lives: August 2013
http://aviewintoourlives.blogspot.com/2013_08_01_archive.html
Saturday, August 31, 2013. This Girl is On Fire'. I broke down and bought a little Kids Bop CD yesterday so we can listen to some kid appropriate music. The lyrics on the radio are becoming quite appalling and little ears are understanding far too much these days. So girlfriend, you sing it with all your heart! You are on fire! Tuesday, August 27, 2013. Back to School Night. I can't wait to see it all unfold. Aubrey is going to learn so much! When I told Aubrey we were going to her classroom for a meetin...

A View Into Our Lives: July 2013
http://aviewintoourlives.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
Wednesday, July 31, 2013. This summer the theme at Preschool Summer Camp is County Fair. The girls had the opportunity to run a little lemonade and snack stand with their preschool class today. Last week they created little invitations for everyone. They created signs, made lemonade, kettle corn, muddy buddies, and snow cones. The money from her box, but we straightened her out. You take. I can't tell you how much I love their little preschool! Sadly, we only have two weeks left of summer. We're goin...

A View Into Our Lives: September 2013
http://aviewintoourlives.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
Thursday, September 26, 2013. Addy suddenly has an obsession with braids. As in she completely breaks down and cries when I don't do them right and they don't fall the way she had envisioned. Life is tough. I have a feeling this little hairstyle will be requested everyday for a while until she moves on. I like it on her. If I could just figure out a way for it to stay for the whole day with that wispy fine hair we'd be set. Wednesday, September 25, 2013. Halloween 2013 Treat Bags. This year we are all go...

A View Into Our Lives: October 2013
http://aviewintoourlives.blogspot.com/2013_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 28, 2013. Last weekend I traveled to Illinois for my 15th college reunion. It was so nice to be back on campus and see so many of my old friends. Walking around the campus reminded me of one of the reasons I traveled so far from home for college. The campus is beautiful! Coming from 87 degree weather the day before to a high of 55 and windy was a little shock to my California body. Oh to be in college again without any responsibilities. Sunday, October 27, 2013. The Halloween costume maki...

A View Into Our Lives: May 2013
http://aviewintoourlives.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
Wednesday, May 29, 2013. Sometimes we have a hard time getting these girls to stop what they are doing to take a bath at night. Last night Addy was heartbroken when I told her she couldn't play out front with her " fence friend. Garrett. She went sobbing to the fence and told him "Sorry, my mom said I can't! Oh how it broke my heart. So I gave in and let them play for 10 minutes in the front yard riding scooters . We set the timer and all was right with the world. Tuesday, May 28, 2013. Discovering curly...

A View Into Our Lives: February 2014
http://aviewintoourlives.blogspot.com/2014_02_01_archive.html
Saturday, February 22, 2014. Student of the Month. Yesterday I had the opportunity to go to Aubrey's classroom for her big Student of the Month award. I was so excited when I got the letter last week informing us that she would be getting an award. She had no idea she was getting an award so it was a big surprise to her. I am excited for Aubrey and how much she has accomplished so far this school year. Reading is a tough skill for kids with Apraxia. So I am relived to know these important skills ...What ...

A View Into Our Lives: Barbie Birthday Party
http://aviewintoourlives.blogspot.com/2014/10/barbie-birthday-party.html
Monday, October 20, 2014. This weekend we hosted Aubrey's seventh birthday party at our home. This girl is all about Barbies these days and wanted a Barbie themed party. Her and I browsed Pinterest and found all sorts of fun things. I love that she is old enough to make decisions and to help plan her own party. First off, we decided on a vintage Barbie theme. I found these really cute invitations on Etsy. I was able to find a free download of some vintage Barbie silhouette printables from Catch My Party.
