Tuesday, October 26, 2010. Jet-setter Ameliah to Pacific Northwest. In September, the three of us took a trip to the Pacific Northwest to visit some friends and to watch the Huskers beat Washington (yay! We had a great time visiting our friends the Johnsons in Portland, OR, and then the Larsons in Seattle. In Oregon we had the chance to visit a few wineries in the Willamette valley near Portland. Wednesday, March 31, 2010. Ameliah is 8 weeks old today! How time flies. she's changed so much since February 2. Right now, she's starting to smile and coo; sometimes she has a lot to say and sometimes she just likes to observe. Her favorite things to look at are the ceiling fan and skylights in the living room. She likes to suck on her hands, and it seems like she tries to fit her whole fist in her mouth! And Then There Were Four. Thursday, January 31, 2013. We were able to take a family trip to the zoo around Christmas. It was sunny and bright, but a little cool. We went early in the morning and had the place almost to ourselves. The animals were all out and sunning themselves! The kids were excited that they were able to show Daddy a lot of their favorite spots.. Feeding the deer- Ainsley loves the deer. They are very gentle. Snack time at the picnic tables.
