Bringing a baby home. Wednesday, February 26, 2014. A Club I Never Wanted To Join. I lost the baby last week. Normal ultrasound at six weeks, saw heartbeat. But when I went back for another ultrasound at eight weeks there was no heartbeat. I had a D&C on Friday. When this whole infertility business started seven years ago, I wasn't that surprised. I had always suspected I'd have trouble getting pregnant, with my longish and wonky cycles. This This was a surprise. Good luck with the FET. And so it ends.

Monday, October 19, 2009. Ukulele had a little accident last night. She got into a fight with the tv console, and I think the console won.* Anyway, while going through the "internets" for a little medical research regarding her bruised eyelid, I came across a website called "pedia.tric on.call" (all one word). This is a website maintained by doctors. DOCTORS! However, just because you are doctor does not mean that you are intelligent. She's fine, by the way. the tv console was appropriately punished.

She is in 2T clothes already, and is in the 95th percentile for height and weight. I'm guessing her firstdad must have been tall because I'm told firstmom is very petite. Bringing a baby home. Monday, July 7, 2014. Well, to my surprise, the lines got darker. And darker. By Friday, it looked like a very nice positive and I was starting to feel fairly optimistic. A late implanter, I thought. What matters is that the line gets darker, right? Except then it stopped getting darker. And today it's decidedly lighter. So yes, a chemical.
