Friday, December 10, 2010. Wow - it's been a long time since I posted on Christian's website. It's so hard to find time these days. Christian is thriving and growing every day. One day he just started talking in completed sentences: "No Mama. That is not up." or "I do not eat that." (It usually involves the word "no" or "not"). He has grown out of Cookie Monster although he still likes to watch Cookie Monster on YouTube. Christian loves his Papa Steve. And when asked, says he's his best friend.

Saturday, March 19, 2011. Christian has changed so much. He no longer cares about Cookie Monster although he will hug is Cookie Monster doll if he finds him. He loves racing his cars around the dining room table and every other surface. He pretends he is playing Mario Cart and gets hit with "sea shells". Good at putting puzzles together. He loves to pretend he's wearing "Mama's pants" so that I'll chase him. Favorite foods: grapes, strawberries, chicken, and mac and cheese. March 24, 2011 at 2:25 AM.

Last week Christian and I talked about the Nook Fairies coming to collect his nooks to give to little babies. Tuesday: Again Christian only asked for his nook at bedtime. He cried for a minute then asked for milk. He successfully fell asleep without it and stayed asleep without it. Wednesday: He asked for it at bedtime, but did not cry when we told him "no".

Saturday, October 24, 2009. Our desktop computer is finally fixed so I can once again upload pictures! A few weeks ago, Richard, Christian and I went to Apple Jacks Orchard. In Delano, MN. We met some friends from my work and their families. We went on a hay ride through the orchard. We looked at chickens, ponies and goats. We sipped hot apple cider. We played on hay bales. Monday, December 22, 2008. Nothing Says Christmas Like Stars and Pigs. We decided to make Christmas Cookies this weekend. Christian sat in his high chair and watched me cut out stars and pigs from sugar cookies and gingerbread dough. Yes, stars and pigs. I realized that I have Halloween cookie cutters, 8 different star cookie cutters, and two pig cookie cutters. No Christmas cookie cutters. So Richard and I decorated pigs and stars. Richard spent hours strategically placing our Christmas lights on our house weeks before Thanksgiving. But we forgot one important step in the process of preparing for Christmas: cards.
