We had to go today for Chayse, as she had two doctor's appointments scheduled. Praise God for the blessings in life we receive when we least expect them!

Monday, October 27, 2008. Pumpkin Patch and The Fair. We went to Jean's Berry Patch a couple of weeks ago to pick out "punkins" as Lauren calls them. She had fun looking at all of the pumpkins, especially the one that was 397 pounds! Here are a few of the pics we took while we were there. Last week Lauren went to the NC State Fair with some friends from Jenny's work. She had a blast and enjoyed the rides and eating yummy food. Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Last Monday Lauren had her first day of preschool. We had talked about it a lot over the past few weeks and boy was she excited to go! Both of us went to drop her off and she did really good! I think it was harder for us to leave her than it was for her to see us go. Her teachers tell us that she is doing really well and every day when we pick her up she tells us that she had fun! We are so grateful that the transition has gone well so far and hope that it continues!

Tuesday, September 16, 2008. Well, Noah is starting to understand the word "no" when his mouth finds things that shouldn't be eaten (which is pretty much everything he can get his hands on). Saturday, November 1, 2008. Lauren experienced her first pumpkin carving this year. She wasn't really impressed with the process, but liked the end result. We were all amazed with Justin's skills at carving since neither one of us has carved a pumpkin since we were kids. Maybe next year we can talk him into carving a Tigger? Thursday, August 14, 2008. I truly can't believe its been 8 months and on the same note, it feels like it's been longer! Noah has gotten such a personality. He loves to take in new things and go on adventures. You can see from his little furrowed brows that he's just soaking it in and wondering what's going on. Sometimes it's hard to get a good laugh going with him, but he just makes you work for it! The payoff is so wonderful to hear his big 'ol belly laugh! Here's a little video of his laugh fest!

Sunday, March 23, 2008. Lauren has had a very busy last couple of weeks. Friday, December 16, 2011. It only took 4 years but finally a successful trip to visit Santa. He was great during the almost hour wait and even better, not only did he not cry, he went to Santa by himself, sat on his lap, answered his questions and told him one of things he wants for Christmas.
