Thursday, July 24, 2008. Week 10 - we can't wait any longer to tell. Well we are into week 10 and all is still pretty normal. I am experiencing some nausea from time to time but have been very lucky and have not been very sick. We are getting very antsy to tell friends and family our good news so we have started telling family and will be breaking the news to a group of friends this week. Monday, June 30, 2008. Week 6 - So far so good. These last two weeks have been slow going in the wait for our first ultrasound. The ultrasound was on June 26th and it was an amazing sight! The baby is so small you can't even see it without the tech pointing it out on the screen. What you could see was the flutter of a tiny heartbeat which was the great news we were hoping for. The baby is measuring just right and they updated our due date to February 18th based on the measurements. Monday, June 16, 2008.

Monday, April 26, 2010. Leaving On a Jet Plane. We are spending a week in Oceanside (just north of San Diego) on vacation. It is our first flying vacation since Mady was born. We really just wanted to go somewhere warm with beaches and some fun attractions that are kid friendly nearby. So our plans are really to just relax and enjoy some sun. Keeping track of the stupid shiz I do. Wednesday, August 5, 2009. Potty Train Day 4. Today to far Catie has peed on the potty three times! This morning she woke with a wet diaper but went for a pee in our bathroom right away. Then downstairs before breakfast and again after I put Lia down for her morning nap. I am so excited! I really hope this continues, but am a little worried about no pooping on the pot yet. Hopefully we will be successful before our big trip to Kansas in two weeks! 2009 Seattle to NY.

Tomorrow I have to run six miles, go to Drunch with the girls, pick up our race packets for Sunday then on home to Jeff n Jeremy's BBQ. Another BUSY BUSY day! But it doesn't stop there! Sunday we get to wake up early at go to the Beat the Bridge race then hurry up and get home to go to Sarah's new house for Nicole's baby shower. Phew!

Monday, March 5, 2012. While rounding a corner the other day, two hyper kiddos in full on sprint mode collided. the point of impact was where chin met forehead. tears were shed. (luckily) no blood was spilled. Turtle wouldnt let me give her an ice pack so over the next hour i watched the bump on her dome grow. now she sports a cute little goose egg.
